Audio guides used to be a luxury.

Studio, voice actors, translators, agency: a traditional audio guide easily runs into five figures and takes months. Out of reach for small museums, and simply not worth it for temporary shows.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do we need any technical knowledge?

No. You send us your texts and we do the rest. At the end you get ready-made QR codes to print and put up.

Don’t AI voices sound artificial?

Modern voices are hard to tell apart from human speakers. Listen to the voice samples above, or ask for a free sample using your own text.

Who checks the content?

You do. Your team approves every script before it goes live.

Do visitors need an app or a rental device?

No. Visitors scan a QR code and listen right in their smartphone’s browser. No install, no sign-up.

How does Lumina Live work on guided tours?

Your guide talks into the Lumina app on their phone. Guests scan a QR code, choose their language and hear the tour translated in real time, with live subtitles. 13 languages are currently available, including English, French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese and Japanese.

What does it cost?

It depends on scope: for audio guides on the number of stops and languages, for Lumina Live on usage. Write to us and we’ll send you a no-obligation quote in euros.

How quickly is an audio guide ready?

Usually a few days after we receive your texts. A traditional audio guide with a studio and voice actors often takes several months.

Which languages are available?

More than 30 languages, each with its own natural voice. On request we add a children’s version and an easy-to-read version.

Can we change the content later?

Yes, at any time. Changes are online within minutes, with no new studio recording.

Is it worth it for small museums and temporary exhibitions?

Yes, that is exactly what Lumina is built for. Because the audio guide costs a fraction of a traditional one and is ready in days, it pays off for small museums, galleries and short exhibitions too.

Do you collect visitor data?

No. There is no tracking and no sign-up. You only see anonymous statistics, for example which chapters are played how often.

A free audio sample with your own text.

Tell us briefly about your museum, exhibition or guided tours. We’ll get back to you personally, and on request we’ll create a free audio sample using your own text.
